New York State DEC Licensing

We sell New York State hunting and fishing licenses in accordance to the NY State Department of Environmental Conservation.

Please visit the Town Clerk's Office during regular business hours to purchase a hunting and/or fishing license.

Hunter Education Course

The NY Hunter Education course (Hunter Safety course) is required to purchase a hunting license in New York. The course covers the necessary safety techniques and responsibilities that a hunter must know when using a gun, muzzle loader, crossbow or bow to pursue wild game.
